There are 2 different methods of implementation in the commerce API, iframe or redirect. It's only likely to affect you if the 3DS html is loaded in an iframe.

TBF i have just had an issue with an authentication error this morning for 3DS and the ops team had to do it Moto as the customer had tried three times.
