How do I create a custom report to view all GL activity for 1 account by location. Ex I want to view rent expense for the Dallas location from 1/20-6/20

There are various ways you could have this set up. One way would be doing a custom transaction report. Select "Detail" for the format of the report, then go to More Customization. Under Edit Columns, select the columns you want to use. In this example I'm using Name (G/L style) from the account list, and then Amount and Date from the Transaction list. You can add other things if you want like document number. Under Filters, add the Name (G/L style) and then select which GL account you want it to filter to. Do this same thing with date if you want as well as location. Choose how you want to sort the information, and the audience, and then run the report. Make tweaks as needed.
