I am not sure if this is the correct channel to ask this. I have just started a new role where the team is in the middle of an implementation. What are some tips that you can give me to make sure that I can get up to speed with what has been designed and configured thus far? Eventually I will have to manage all this post go-live and I would like to get some tips on how I can best be suited to be successful in taking over the administration of NetSuite post go-live

This isn't a bad place to ask that question - but it is definitely a loaded question that has a lot to it that would depend on your company and plans for NetSuite. I'd be somewhat tempted to work on this with the folks helping you with the implementation. As expensive as that call may be, they are most likely to be the ones who can answer those questions for you. I always encourage my clients to have someone identified to take admin role on - you'd be surprised at the number of folks that don't adequately prepare there, so you're asking the right question - but probably not to the right audience.

@KevinJ of Kansas I plan on meeting with an SME on the consulting side to start this discussion. I'm certainly gonna be the person taking of the day-to-day administartive duties so I agree with you that a good place to start is with the consultant to come up with a roadmap for the transition over to me. Thanks for your response.
strongpoint has a tool they are offering for free for 6 months- flashlight
this tool documents your environment. Helpful for scaling.

@Laine Melendy, any idea how much Flashlight costs after the 6 month trial? I went to the site and it's not jumping out. Looks like a great SuiteApp.
