Hello, basic question:
When adding a new project task, it is somehow possible to select a pre-created task from drop down list or something like that? We have now about 50 service items in the system, which are actually the project tasks. So can we somehow choose the service item as a project task?
Now I have to write the task name and other information when creating task. We have many tasks that are required for every single project. So time waste is huge if we always have to manually write the details for every task instead of just picking the right task from the list. Every project includes at least 20-30 different tasks so it takes a lot of time to write all of them manually.

Was creating Project Templates already considered?

Yeah it sounds like Project Templates is a good bet as @Excel Quindara suggests. Alternatively, if your tasks are more dynamic, you can use the project tasks import process (it's different than the standard import process, and has a lot more issues/limitations, but it's okay for initial setup).

Thanks for both of you, I will go with the template first and then try the import process.

Note that if you go the import route you can't save the import mapping like you can with regular CSV Import

You have to remap it every time you import

Just started working with CloudExtend from Celigo and so far I’ve been able to edit, delete and insert projects, project tasks and time entries. You could setup your 50 tasks in a template, delete the excel
Rows you don’t want , drop in the project “Parent Name : Project Name” or internalID and click the Upload Button.
There are a couple of other ways you could do it with the utility. Pretty slick tool.
