Hi Everyone, We have 20 locations and each location is a purchasing location. Right now when we sell / fulfill out of the location it is using the average cost of the inventory in that location instead of using the average cost across the entire entity (the avg cost on the item record). We would prefer for sales to always use the total average cost instead of location specific. Is that possible? Thanks in advance!

Group Average costing may be what your looking for..

What Adam said. Unfortunately, this will involve recreating the items since costing methods cannot be changed. You could try a support ticket with NetSuite to see if they can help handle it on the back end for open accounting periods.

The field Average cost on item is essentially averaged out cost across all locations. Perhaps you can bring that on the sales transactions using some workflow/script?
