Is there a report/search that would show when an item went out of stock? It would great if it could be run for a period of time to see when the inventory level fell below the reorder point. I tried Stock Status and Inventory Snapshot but it doesn't quite get me there.

have you looked at the inventory detail report?

last sale date (that may not be the actual field name) is a field I have been able to use sometimes, it wont help if you have since come back into stock, but for an item currently out of stock it will tell you the date you last shipped.
