Hi all, I'm implementing purchase contracts and I have a question about color variants. We're purchasing widget XYZ in 3 colors: red, blue, green. Each color is its own item in NetSuite (XYZ-red, XYZ-blue, XYZ-green) The purchase contract applies to widget XYZ as a whole, regardless of color. How can I account for that in the purchase contract? Thanks!

Have not used Purchase Contracts in NetSuite, so I am not too familiar with it. Perhaps you can utilise the merchandise hierarchy feature? Create a parent item for the separate colours and use that in the purchase contracts.

Hi @Akira thanks for the tip - we don't use merchandise hierarchy, but we do have matrix parent / children items. Maybe that could work?

If you purchase equal quantities of the red, blue and green items each time, then maybe you can create a Kit Item that includes the three items, and then include the kit item in your Purchase Contract?
