Is it possible to have an item in inventory AND also as drop ship?

An inventory item can be both regular and drop ship item. You can set an inventory item to default as drop ship on transactions by checking the Drop Ship Item box on the Item records. Anyway, you can still override this on transactions in the Create PO transaction line field. In short, you can treat an item as a regular or drop ship item through Create PO transaction line.
