Hmm...as i think about what you said and a definition i see online of the difference between serial numbers and lots numbers, it looks like we have Lot numbers turned alone but are using it as if they were UNIQUE, the way serial numbers are actually intended to work. We are using the lot feature as if they are serial numbers.
