In advanced manufacturing, what is the best way to allocate overhead and stuff like utilities by UNIT produced. We use Advanced Manufacturing and WIP. I can add i to the BOM but then the warehouse has to "Issue it". I can add it to the routing but there's not a clear way to make it so that it adds a X amount per unit built. It's either fixed per run or by run rate.

Could you make it part of a phantom assembly as a component instead?

hmm but wouldn't the components of that phantom assembly still need to be issues?

That's the whole point of a phantom assembly - the component's don't have to be issued.

That said, it is an educated guess - it might not work for your use case

Hmm, I always thought that meant the phantom assembly doesn't have to be in stock, and the components would then be pulled

Couldn’t you modify the source in the MRO component to phantom and via UoM & yield % get it to make whatever # of units you wanted for a specific WO ?

I don't think that's an option in Adv Manufacturing.
