I have a custom sublist on certain transactions (Special Task), and a certain column on that sublist (Special Task ID) is always the same for all the lines on that sublist on a given transaction. I would like to use a workflow to copy “Special Task ID” from the sublist (Group / Max / etc.) into a Transaction Body field that has Store Value checked. The Special Task records already exist before the Transaction is created. Is this possible?

Hey Tony, if I'm not mistaken, accessing sulists via workflow isn't possible without an additional workflow script. With that being said, the workflow sublist feature might have been added in the most recent release 2020.2 OR it's going to be released next year.

Sorry, that's probably not very helpful..

Thanks so much @Josh Godfrey, that is actually very helpful! It’s good to know that something isn’t possible—it means I didn’t overlook something. We’ll get the update tomorrow, so that’s also exciting to try out.
A script to enable workflows to access sublist columns actually sounds pretty brilliant! I can see many applications of this principle to make the NetSuite Workflow UI more accessible for our users. Will definitely look into it!

No problem, @Tony Zuko! Let me know how it works out.
