@Chris I do not personally like WF fields unless they only mean something INSIDE the WF. Something like an approved by or approved amount I personally feel is better as a field ON the record itself. Depends on how fancy you would want to get but you could also create a custom approval record which would attach all of that information and display it on the record. Again, it really depends on how fancy or how much you want to do with the information
