05/21/2021, 9:05 AMAssuming single site and Sitebuider, you should just be able to use result column "Category" in an item search.

05/21/2021, 9:09 AMYou'll probably need to add criteria formula(text) {category} does not start with "Related Items for" to exclude related items.

05/21/2021, 10:56 AMWorks fine for me. If you create a new item search, do you have Category, Category(No Hierarchy) and Category(Preferred) as result column options? If not, are you using an administrator account?

05/21/2021, 11:37 AMCommerce Categories are a different concept, applicable to Suitecommerce. If you're not using an admin role, it may be related to these Lists permissions
