I've been asked to show the Current YTD and Previous YTD sales on a customer record in the primary information area. I've created two saved searches that accomplish this. On the customer record, I've created two custom fields that in the Validation & Defaulting section call the respective saved search for each field dynamically based on the customer internal id. Unfortunately this adds 2 to 3 seconds to the page load for the customer record. What maybe another way to do this to reduce the performance hit? Criteria: Type is any of Invoice, Credit Memo, Cash Sale Main Line is false Date Created is within this fiscal year Tax Line is false Shipping Line is false Item : Type is Assembly Results: Amount Sum Filter Customer Internal ID
