Besides the suiteapprovals suiteapp Would the only feasible alternative be to create a workflow+script(suitelet) on transactions we want to capture email approvals for?

Yeah, you basically have to either make a custom script or use a premade solution. There's no out of the box way to do that. It's unfortunate because although that's a nice feature, SuiteApprovals has a lot of issues unfortunately.

@MGBC Just wondering, how would someone can build these types of customization. i am very curious and really wants to learn this but so far not sure where to start.

@wishalsangole4444 do you mean you want to build custom approval workflows? Or you want to build NetSuite bundled solutions/products like greenlight approvals?
