Hi Everyone,
I am trying to make the LOCATION field visible on a custom journal entry form. The field is ticked as "Show" but it doesn't appear. Other fields appear when I tick "Show".
Any thoughts would be welcome.

I'd check out the scripted records page to see if there's a script or something controlling the form

In addition to the above, as custom scripts or workflows could definitely hide it - Looking at the correct custom form? Confusion between the line versus header level (there's areas to show this on both the 'Main' and 'Lines' tab of the custom form? Checkboxes checked in Company > Enable Features and in Accounting Preferences > General (allow per-line locations, if applicable)?

Firstly a script could be hiding the field
Secondly the user might not have access to view locations
Or just customize the form to see if it is checked

Another thing to check is whether Location appears in a subtab rather than on the main body of the form, and whether that subtab is set to Show or Hide.
And also check whether it is relabeled to appear is something other than "Location". Both these things are controllable in the Customize Form page for the custom form you want it to appear on.

It appears that you are now able to have the location field on both the header and the line level. There is a suiteanswers referring to this.
