What to do when trying to remove a domain and the status is just question mark.

How long ago did you create the domain? If it's very recent then you can't make changes until it either succeeds or fails

it doesn't happen frequently, but sometimes the domain deployment gets stuck and you need to create a support ticket so they can resolve it.
As Steven said, if its recent, you'll have to wait.
If it isn't recent, my recommendation is to create a support case so they can fix it on your behalf @suiteExperimenter

Correct. We can do manual unblocking of domain deployments

(But it's usually quicker if you just wait to see if it will resolve to either fail or succeed)

I am doing some domain switching. I migrated the first one within an hour but the second one is taking hours and counting. I understand it used to be 2-48 hours when setting up domain in the past for set up. I'm not sure for deletion.
I'll give it some more time before filing a case.
