I'm going to be tasked early next year with cleaning up our User Roles.. Where is the best place to get information? I'm also have customs records/WIP and Routing and things like that. How do I find what kind of records these are to allow or not allow users to access?

Run a login audit trail to see which roles are actively used by employees and compare that to your employee list. Deprovision roles that are not used. For roles that are used, run a show role differences report. You can export into excel. Access to custom records will show on the role record and the differences report. Good luck! @Adam Weaver

Also always a good idea to rely on native roles when possible - if NetSuite pushes updates to roles, you're golden. But if you have a million custom roles, you might end up having to edit and make updates yourself

yeah I honestly might put the native role in for my production people and add when needed. Are you saying NetSuite pushes updates for when I add new modules and such?
