Is anyone familiar with the *Supply Required By Date* field? I’m not sure where this field came from, but recently all of my saved searches that include *Ship Date* are now showing today’s date instead. From what I understand, it seems like some feature may have been enabled that makes the Supply Required By Date replace or override the Ship Date. i'm not sure if it has anything to with ignoring commitment. Can anyone confirm if that’s the case.

This is from the supply allocation feature

The supply required by date on a sales order is like the ship date. The NetSuite will allocate inventory based on this date so the first need is satisfied first

You can also setup your supply allocation settings to allocate based on fill rate or gross margin

You can set it up in infinite different ways with allocation schedules too.
