Is there a report I can use to see the line level details of Inventory Adjustment records? The out of the box report is the Stock Take Adjust Register which doesn't have the Customise button so I assume we can't modify this.
m
out of box, no, but you could create a Transaction Report with a filter for Transaction Type of Inventory Adjustment and work your way from there.
m
Thanks. I tried this, but I can't seem to get the line level fields like 'Adjust Qty By', 'Current Value', 'New Quantity' etc. Are these fields accessible? I tried the Item line but there's nothing in there.
m
Those fields are odd on a saved search. I know that in a Inv. Adj. saved search, "Quantity" is the "Adjust Qty. By" value. Current Value/New Value... if I remember correctly, one of those just doesn't work.

@mg2017 did you select main line "false" in your criteria?
m
I did, yes - main line = false

You need an additional field Transaction Line Type which reveals the action of each line you get in your results with Main Line = False.
m
Ah thanks, I didn't realise that. But now I am looking at the Transaction Line Type and 'Adjustment' doesn't appear to be an option.
Just an FYI - from NS Support: Enhancement # 144956 Summary: Reporting/Search : Inventory Adjustment > Be able to run a Custom Search or Report that can Generate the Quantity Adjusted and Amount of the Adjusted Quantity.
m
yea, pretty much what I remembered. Some of those fields just not available.

this is how we use the fields to give the impact of the Inv Count:
