I cant seem to get File Drag and Drop to work properly with a Custom Role on a Custom Transaction. I posted about this last week and was able to figure out the correct rights only for this morning it stop working again (role hasnt changed) • On create, the user can attach drag and drop without issue. • On Edit, they get an "Insufficient Permission" error message. • On Edit, when they receive the "insufficient permission" message, the file ends up in the file cabinet but does not show up under Communication > Files • The user can see attached files, open attached files, and attach files manually (not using drag and drop) on the record. • All rights on the role are set to Edit I'm at an absolute loss.

I'm not aware of this being an issue with this bundle specifically, but I've run across other bundles where you sometimes have to track down the scripts it's using and grant access to those scripts.

This looks like the user doesn't have Edit of the custom record unrelated to drag and drop. Can they Edit the custom record? Custom record have a Permissions field which override the Role permissions
n
yep. They have edit access to all records in scope
n
Can they manually attach that file in the UI?
n
Yes. Without issue if they don't use drag and drop. Gave them full rights in sandbox to test same issue. Support is investigating after rejecting the case. I'll keep you posted.
