Hi, you can create vendor form customer and vice versa. They share the same ID, Internal ID and External ID. Do you know disadvantages of using the feature?

Thanks <@UER9Q3SGM> one of the fundamentals of interrelated entities is netting off, which NetSuite can't handle efficiently. You need to create journal entries and it's a mess. 

What you mean by being permanent? Do you mean you can't delete or inactive the related entity?

and you can't untie them from one another

So if someone messes it up... fun cleanup involved

It should be noted that intercompany netting is a newer feature - but I think that's specifically within the context of intercompany transactions - I would doubt it accommodates this, but maybe?

Thanks <@UER9Q3SGM> intercompany netting is for intercompany entities and as far as I know doesn't handle the standard entities. Thanks for your help:+1:

We use polymorphic entities(Customer/Vendors with the same ID) b/c we send our client's money, recorded as Vendor Bills
