Has anyone recently been dealing with JEs using same number? In September and now this month a Finance member has mentioned to me duplicate JEs. The JEs were created minutes apart and one thing they have in common is one of the JEs always has a reversal associated with it. Also the odd thing is we have warn/block duplicate numbers turned on and I am unable to reproduce this problem. Anytime I try creating a JE with someone else I get a notification that the number is in use. I messaged support back when it happened in Sept and the reason they gave me is that this is actually marked as an enhancement not a defect because SO and JE are type-based numbers and warn/block only works for externally based numbered transactions. However there is no explanation of why when we try to reproduce it we get blocked but some manage to slip through.
