Hi all, do you know if it is possible to merge 2 inventory items? Or does anyone have a workaround to manage situations like that?

Our workaround is to mark the duplicate as inactive and then enter it in the 'subitem of' field on the non-duplicate item. I'm also curious if there is a better way.

These types of workaround works, but a good practice in general(not only NetSuite) but any Inventory Management software is to create/define a company wide naming convention for items and put some restrictions in place to avoid this duplication issues.
