My name is Dan Warner and my company launched Netsuite just over one year ago. This has been my first exposure to Netsuite. Over the last 13 months I have learned a lot about Netsuite but would still like to learn a lot more. Right now my company does not have an in-house Netsuite expert, and I would like to work towards filling that role. My manager has tasked me with the project of getting on a 30 minute call with ten people who have been in the Netsuite space for some time and asking a few questions to get a sense of the best way to become an expert in the system. If you are willing to hop on a 30 minute call to share you expertise about Netsuite, I would be very grateful. Please reply here or message me. Thank you, Dan Warner

That's really great that your management would allow you to do this! I would recommend to take advantage of it and get a subscription (if your Netsuite sub doesn't already come with it) to the LCS Learning Pass from Netsuite- there you will benefit from spending many hours watching their training- this has helped me a LOT.. HOWEVER... What is recommended, and probably best for your company would be to find an Admin or Admin/Dev with a lot of experience already (contractor or otherwise) to handle the more complex things while you develop your skills and grow within the space.
This is how I did it- obv not the only way to do it, but having that senior to lean on when you have questions was critical for me in learning and developing my skills. It could be very difficult otherwise.
It also benefitted the company because their ticket response times skyrocketed due to me handling the easier tasks- and I got to take on more difficult tasks with time 🙂
