Suggestions for an Item type. Items are received by pallet unserialised but shipped individually with serial numbers. Due to logistics and large volumes we cannot get the individual serials until we breakdown the pallet on shipping. We are using Netsuite WMS. We have some concepts but I dont want to cloud the slack suggestions. Any shoot from hip suggestions?

Biggest question is: Do they care what S/Ns are in inventory? If not, use a custom field on the fulfillment to track which S/Ns go to which order. No sense using the serialization functionality without needing traceability.

Yes. That’s one thing we were considering. We need to get it included on the WMS fulfillment process and the invoice. They will be warranty claim items so that’s another consideration.
