In a new NetSuite instance without transactions or items I want to turn off Advanced BOM. Give me an advice that some fields are being reference by other records. Any ideas how to find fields that might be causing this? I guess it could be another bundle, customization or search maybe.

Hello, check out this two SA, I think that'll help your situation. Answer Id: 98683 & 90419

Those articles do make sense problem is we don’t have transactions or any BOMs. It’s says field dependency. I skimmed over the item fields for List/record type of associations. I’ll look deeper

Only related records must be assembly, item revision, manufacturing routing, work order, assembly build, and assembly unbuild records. Other then If It's a new NetSuite account It should let you disable feature

I was told that the Advanced BOM cannot be disabled anymore once turned on. The source of my source was a NS customer support. But I'm not 100% sure.

Yes, I also heard that too even they told me be careful before activating Advance BOM but as far as this two SA shows maybe It can be disabled

I'm pretty sure it's a 1 way trip
like 99.95% sure.
netsuite 1
you might be able to ask NS to reset your account to default values - but you'd lose anything else you have in there.

I was looking for some setups on manufacturing document and saw this @Netsuite Tragic

That's not the same as turning off advanced BOM

thanks for the ideas. I think they are stuck with it, Exact message says "There are custom fields referencing BoM or BoM revision. To resolve this issue, delete all custom fields that reference BoM and BoM revision."
