How do you all handle Contacts when they move from one Customer to another? I know NetSuite is very flexible with them and you can add and remove them from Customer Contact lists. If you add the existing Contact to the new Customer, the Contact on the existing Customer will change the value of Company on that list (on both lists). Obviously, you could also create a second Contact. If you add the existing Contact to the new Customer, you can see the change in Company and Job Title in the System Notes. Would you leave the other Customer's Contact list untouched? Remove the Contact from the old Customer? Create a new one? I'm sure there are many ways to do this. The goal is to track info about the Contact on both Customers.

We use the
Relationships tab
and avoid the primary
Company
field on the contact record. This way, we have one contact record related to multiple companies. I tried to recreate the scenario you described but I wasn't getting the same behavior. When I add, or remove a contact from the Relationships tab (Both Contact and Customer Records) the primary Company Field on the contact does not change.
