wanted to leave this here in case someone experienced a similar issue, I was attempting to mass delete records and was using the Ctrl + shift method on a saved search. This method was tedious and I had to delete over 5k records. After a bit of research, I decided to install the Techfino Mass Delete Records script from SuiteBundler. You can deploy the script by creating a saved search containing the records you'd like to delte. Navigate to the script deployment page, select the TF | Mass Delete Records script and click view, edit the script, under Parameters, select the saved search you just created, click save and execute under the save options.

For what it's worth - I'd probably vet bundle before installing it. Never know what someone might include in a bundle that you don't know is there...

Yeah I think I would go the tedious route for deleting records if I didn't know how to write my own script to do it.
