You only have 0 available. Please enter a different quantity. Has anyone seen this error? I am getting this on item fulfillment that i am creating from sales order linked to work order
c
Did you check the item record in question to see if there is a quantity available at that location?
s
I just created the work order, there is only one sales order, the sales order even says comitted
c
Did you verify that the SO, fulfillment and work order are all pulling from the same location?
s
yup
what does unpicked bin means?
c
I believe that is the quantity available.
s
and it saying lot qty available across bins is 0
so when 3000 is available and i want to fulfill 3000 it saying i have 0 available, doesn't make sense
c
On the item record itself, what does it show for qty available? Does it show 3000 available on the item record?
s
comitted is to this sales order
c
Did you select the correct bin? Just trying to think of other things that could be causing your error.
s
yes i picked the correct the bin, actually use bin wasn't even checked, i thought that might have caused the issue so i checked that box and assigned a bin
c
1. Go to Setup > Company > Locations 2. Select the Location and click Edit 3. Set the Make Inventory Available checkbox = T 4. Click Save
Try checking that the location is setup to make inventory available
s
that is checked just confirmed
c
Maybe since you just checked "Use Bins" on that item, they aren't actually in a bin? If that's the case, then you might need to edit the receipt of the items to receive them into a bin.
s
this error occured before that and this came from work order completion, work order completion has bin and it is the same bin as on the item fulfillment
c
I'm just thinking that maybe your receiving transaction for the qty 3000 might need to be edited to be received into the bin you're trying to fulfill from. Just a thought
s
thanks for thinking with me, i am drawing blank of what's going on here
c
That's probably something I'd check. I'd take a look at the item receipt where you first received those items, and make sure it is edited and received into a bin. Since the Use Bins was just checked, that means it was probably received and not assigned to a bin when it was received.
s
This is from the work order completion
item fulfillment
c
Did you check the item receipt though where you originally received those items?
s
this item is not received this is assembly item
c
oh, I gotchya, I didn't realize it was an assembly item.
s
it's all good
i called our netsuite partner and he said all he did was uncommit Save the record and edit and commit the item, and that fixed the error, will need to investigate deeper to see what was going on.
