The mapping of Primary Contact and Alt Contact is not yet availale. This is logged under the Enhancement # 187800: CSV Vendor Import > 'Primary Contact' and 'Alt. Contact' fields are not available in NetSuite mapping fields list. How do you connect the Contact Role to the contact on the vendor record?

I'd be interested to know if you have considered doing this via a CSV update on the Contact records. It;s a case of importing the Vendors, the a 2nd import to bring in the Contacts

Yes we want to do it via CSV but there is no way for me to connect the contact with it's role at the company

my bad. my hack solution (to be tested!) would be to create a Custom Field, List/Record, Contact Role. Which allows you to import the Role into the Contact. Then script across the update from your custom field to the native {contactrole}

Hmm point, but it's kind of stupid that i have to do that native field and this is just for visual anyway i don't think that field is used anywhere in transaction so we don't need to worry about populating the native field, but we can do that.
