I'm not sure where to put this question, but here goes. For those of you are using NetSuite's integrated shipping label functionality, do you know if it's possible to change the return address printed on the label that is generated out of NetSuite somehow? I'm guessing not, but wanted to check. We have a customer where we list our products on their site and when customers place orders through that site, we get/are required to use that company's shipper number to charge shipping to (essentially 3rd party shipping). But because of this they want us to put their returns center as the return address on the label. I feel like this could be a common scenario, but I haven't come across it yet. I was hoping the return address on the item fulfillment was the one used for the label but it's not, it must be for if you want to generate a return label as well. I presume the address comes directly from the integrated shipping record settings and that I'm SOL. Any one have any experience or ideas?

I had the same question on this recently - USPS shipping labels don't give you a way to add a custom return address to the label - it always uses what is in your USPS set up, or the location/company address value. I have a case open w/ NS to see if there's a workaround but I haven't found one yet.

👍 thanks for sharing! I suspected there wasn't one, but it does seem a bit odd that we couldn't overwrite it on the fly if needed.

it definitely seems like a big gap, but NS's shipping labels have always seemed to lack a lot of features to me so it's not terribly surprising

yeah, i don't know what their intentions are, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was just put together early on, before they had a lot of companies using NetSuite who really would want the extra customization, and then since they partnered with other 3rd parties who handle it better (shipstation, ozlink), they have been content to let them handle it. but who knows, it may just be low on the roadmap totem pole

that would all make sense too. i'm sure changing that wouldn't bring them any more new revenue
