I have a custom field whose value is based on a summary search result (Store Value is unchecked). Since Store Value is unchecked, this doesn't show up on saves searches. The workaround based on SAs is to create a workflow to default the value of another custom field whose Store Value is checked from the value of my first custom field. But the downside is that the 2nd custom field will be updated only if I load the record (SO). Is there a way to update the 2nd field automatically without intervention on the record and without scripting?
