Hello all, I have a promotion that gives a 10% discount on the line item based on specific products. The promotion comes in as a second line as a discount. This works fine but it does not reflect the discount on the summary Field ID: discounttotal. Is there any way to reflect the promotion discount on the summary?  Picture attached.

I don't think it's possible to show line item discounts in the summary discounttotal, as it would also have to adjust the subtotal.

Line item does adjust the subtotal - wanted to know if I can use it to display up on summary view - or if I can pass this on SO creation - but its read only. Suitepromotions look like a lot more work to try to implement and manage and dont work for certain statuses

Right, I meant that if you want to show the sum of line item discounts in discounttotal, you'd have to add them back to the subtotal field as well.

If you use a discount item it will update the summary on the transaction since it applies it on the whole transaction. For some reason line level discounts (promotions) do not calculate into summary but into the net subtotal.

But it won't add to the header level summary right

If you create discount items it will add to the header/summary level
