Anyone feel like there is a clear winner in the WMS space when NetSuite is the ERP?

RF-SMART

RF-Smart is not a WMS
l
@mesper curious what RF-Smart actually is
p
RF-Smart is a powerful WMS. rfsmart.com we'v been using it since 2019. Before Netsuite had its own WMS. Iv compared Netsuite WMS. They are getting close function RF-Smart has had.

RF-Smart is an extension of the warehouse logic from Netsuite, with some features on top. But it is still Netsuite that holds delivery planning, reservations. stock level etc. A proper WMS handles all that in itself.

Do you want to keep NetSuite as your system or record, or are you looking to pull data out of NetSuite, operate on it, and push data back up? That's how stand-alone WMS's work that @mesper is referring to and they have the benefit that when NetSuite goes down, you can still operate (although with stale data depending on the length of the outage). Often times that can be more performant since you aren't waiting on NetSuite to load your data in real-time. But you have to deal with 2 sources of truth and keeping those sources in synch can be quite a challenge. So you just have to weigh the pluses and minuses on what you want with your WMS. You can normally tell which is which by the badge type in the marketplace for each solution: Native, Hybrid or Integrated.

Thanks David for helping me clarifying my question. Our current solution is Hybrid, and typically the most common type that I’ve worked with. So who’s winning the hybrid WMS space?
d
My opinion is rfsmart should be in your evaluation list. They have both native and hybrid.
