Is there an equivalent to the old Sitebuilder "Publish Saved Search" with SCA? We want to be able to pull products into a commerce category dynamically based on a saved search - but these items also display elsewhere all the time, so I don't think I can use PCV/dynamic collections?

I've had a think and discussed this with colleagues and generally the answer is no. The items in a commerce category are always static. You could write and schedule a script that updates the items in a commerce category based on the results from your saved search

Thanks Steve. I'd been kicking the same idea round in my head as one possible solution. It's frustrating, as Sitebuilder was hideously out of date, but the few decent features it had are lacking in SCA.

@Dominic B Depending on your use-case, you might be able to accomplish something similar with a Merchandising Zone, but getting those to actually work can be interesting…
