We're trying to create a hierarchy structure of landing pages (as we'd always done previously in Sitebuilder). We can't see any way to do this, without having to resort to extensions. Are we missing something simple somewhere?

Are you able to use Commerce Categories? These create pages and a hierarchy in the URL/Navigation. Typically they are used for displaying products, but I imagine you could add other content using CMS.
