It is my understanding that theme and extension tools are backwards compatible, ie we should be able to run local on older version themes. However, we are having difficulty running theme local or extension local based on 2018.2 using the 2020 tools. There are a few missing templates that we can put in place, but we still get an error for transaction_line_views_cell_navigable_tpl…..it exists and is in the manifest but is throwing an error. Any ideas?

Hi @kkennedydesign tools are not backward compatible for 18.2, that´s why when you go to download the tools there are 2 zips you can download, one for 18.2 and another one for anything above that

ok - I see that we actually were running 2019.1 tools with the 2018.2 theme I thought. Somehow there was a mismatch with sandbox and things got out of synch so we are trying to remedy
