@Steve Goldberg is there any way to view which suitescript apply to a suitecommerce advanced store?
s
I'm not sure I quite understand your question
All the code in ssp_libraries and ssp_libraries_ext will apply to the web store, and scriptable cart if it is written to
You could have other scripts
s
Im trying to see if any suitescripts were created only for suitecommerce and not any backend applications outside of suitecommerce
I will look further to a documentation as to how ssp_lbraries.js is built
s
It's compiled locally on your machine and sent up to the server when you run the SCA developer tools
It includes your models, service controllers and other backend suitescripts
s
also I am confused about which development tools I should be using
the version text that is part of Development > _Sources is SuiteCommerce Advanced Aconcagua.zip which has a version text of 2018-06-15T020621.319Z
s
Read the docs. SCA developer tools are so you can manipulate the source code. If you're running Aconcagua then you can use the extension tools to write extensions
s
however i received a zip file that has a distro that has the following line in the distro.json: "buildToolsVersion": "scemb-2018.2.1",
and the folder structure is different so I believe it is following more closely to the 2018.2.1 Theme and Extension tools. I have been able to push changes however I am unable to see how the shopping.js file is built based off me fetching my theme and or extensions
s
I feel like you're looking too deeply into this without first covering the basics
s
Im not sure I follow
s
Have you familiarised yourself with the changes in architecture in Aconcagua?
s
I understand more or less the new method of implementation
s
OK then I'm not sure what exactly is going on in this conversation. The standard things all apply. SCA tools compile to form the standard source code files for your site, and the extension tools create secondary files that are called afterwards on load.
s
I appreciate your assistance @Steve Goldberg things in this setup have not followed netsuites standards and I am trying wrap my head around what was done and I don't think I have all the pieces
I will continue to do further research
s
🤔 OK
