This is more a question for NetSuite Support, they say, you should use a different one, if you create a custom role, it should come from customer center anyways.
For me this is implying that this is not compatible with Latam Engine, check this, it seems that Mexico and Brazil are the only one supported but with its own localization: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/netsuite/ns-online-help/chapter_161365561211.html

Thanks for pointing that out, good info. We already sent the questions to support but while we are on standby I wanted to check if there any real case or test with that type of combination.
