Can anyone help explain what the true costs of Avalara / AvaTax for NetSuite is? Or some example costs at the level your organization is at? They are so mysterious about their fees. Any anecdotal info you have would be helpful at this point.

Avalara/NS integration cost depends on ur order volume, typically I think about $30k to $40k at daily order of 300 about. Obviously you negotiate down after that. In my experience, if you use their UI manually it's super buggy and you really wanna switch to automated service, but you are right, it looks shady. There are other options out there I reached out 2 or 3 companies but many end up with Avalara.
