i previously had used a suiteql thing that selects from Transaction.Type, however it does not appear to match the values that are selected from in the UI. for example, i can't find "PartiallyFulfilled", only "PendingBillingPartiallyFulfilled"

The type field and the status field are stored in two different places. Have you looked at the Records Catalog to find your fields?
