I’m working with a US company that manufactures overseas and I was asked about how to implement something for tariffs. Negotiations with partners and vendors still ongoing but looking at a negotiated rate split. My first thought rather than updating pricing is to use a markup item set at whatever percentage they settle on. As there is usually more than one way to do something like this I was curious how others might have addressed it.

The first thing I’ll do is build an integration to fetch and parse data from whitehouse.gov executive orders — potentially using AI. That’s the only way the solution stays relevant, because these things change every couple of weeks. LOL 🤣 Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.
