I have a potential employer looking for someone who knows how to develop SuiteApps. I have made numerous SuiteScripts of every kind, but I confess I don't have a clue where SuiteApps come from, and what the difference is between them and SuiteBundles. Can someone enlighten me on this? If it's just another way of publishing and deploying SuiteBundles then it sounds like I already know 90% of what to do.

I'm not sure I know all that much more than you, but my understanding is you need to join Oracle/NetSuite's special club (SuiteCloud Developer Network) and then you just do your normal thing in SDF to build it. https://www.netsuite.com/portal/developers/sdn.shtml

You probably want to talk to someone who's actually signed up, but my impression is that it's just another arbitrary hurdle for them to extract more money. I mean I guess you get a developer account, so I suppose that's worth something, but yeah 🙄

TR was a SDN partner. Yes James is right. One more hurdle to be official
