Hello! I have a workflow deployed on the inventory adjustment record that passes through several stages of approval but the moment the inventory adjustment gets created, the gl impact is reflected instantly. Does anyone know a way where I can halt the reflection until it is approved by the four stages?

The inv. adjustment record does not have different statuses. I did it with a custom record that turned into an inventory adjustment upon approval some years ago. Long time working with inventory counts, but you might want to look into it because that record type has built-in approval functionality.

We considered the same approach as @mesper but ended up just doing an approval process after the IA is created. It doesn't prevent it from posting but it does give finance the ability to ask the submitter to fix it if it is posted incorrectly / no evidence etc.
