How do you Admin's generally handle updating bundles? We have some bundles that we use that haven't been updated since install. What are best practices towards updating them?

Would always be best to contact the supplier of the bundle as sometimes there are things that need to be done in order to make newer version bundles work with your account. Eg they have changed a piece of code which requires a login or now a token based auth etc.
