@rico @Tyler Lamparter or any other Celigo experts in here....I'm trying to create a branch in my flow, but the field that I want to use is not available in the dropdown. I tried it as an expression and still no go. Any ideas?

Screenshot may help. I'm looking for something like this applications.0.applicationdetails.properties.company_type, but I don't even get applicationdetails as an option in the dropdown. Something I can do?
t
Yes it is possible, but unfortunately it's not easy. Do you have this plugin? Use this, then update the flow via api. I use the plugin all the time
We're working on reworking branching and filter UI this year and fixing this is going to be part of it
Also to allow handlebars
a
I don't, but I'll install it and try it out a little later. Thanks Tyler, I'll let you know how it goes
t
Sounds good. I just tested this and it worked. Basically the backend supports it, but the UI doesn't let you just type in something that isn't in the drop down

@AK47 or @Tyler Lamparter can’t you also pull out these nested fields using a transformation or in the response mapping of the lookup step? For example if performing a lookup you can add data.0.applications.0.applicationdetails (etc). And map it to [choose field id] and the response mapping will find the value nested within the array and expose it as a new parameter of the source record to be used in filters and branches?
t
Yeah you could do that as well
You only couldn't if the step prior to the rule/filter is set to one-to-many. Your only option then would be a postResponseMap script on that prior lookup/import

thanks guys, finally have the time to jump back on this and i'm going to try both suggestions. Appreciate the help.
@Tyler Lamparter made some progress, but the branching is working correctly. When I preview, it looks like it will go to the right branch, but then it runs and goes to the other branch. Not sure if Lorraine (from your support team) reached out, because we were trying to work on this together. LMK if I can offer any other information about the issue. Thanks!
