Hi there! I'm having an issue with a workflow not initiating for a specific role when a Journal Entry is created. The workflow is an event-based workflow that initiates on create of a Journal Entry, however when a user who only has View permissions for Journal Entries runs a script that creates a Journal Entry, the workflow does not initiate. When I look at the system notes, I do see that it's the user that created the JE and not the script - would the lack of Journal Entry permissions prevent the workflow from initiating, or could it be something else?

Can you change the Execute as role on the script deployment to Administrator instead of current role?
