If this doesn't foreshadow the death of Stadia, I ...

I’m not sure, do believe that a lot of people sitting with modern gaming rigs are prophesying the fall of stadia and calling it garbage without realising they’re not the target group. (Comment section of the article you linked) Seems like it has had some upswing with the Cyberpunk release (even though cyberpunk is a story on it’s own..) and it might just be a shift in focus from 1st to 3rd party, same way google sells movies without producing their own. I guess time will tell

I don't fall into that group for what it's worth. No modern gaming rig for me. It just seems more cost effective for me to play on an "old" ps4 - and I don't have that terrible input delay

Didn’t mean that you were, I’m in the same bucket as you, but also been experimenting with geforce now and stadia. Have had pretty good experiences
I do miss strategy games at times but most other things I play on my ps4
but FPS games is a whole other story, the input lag kills the experience
k
Perhaps point and click strategy/non realtime games are fine on the stadia, but overall - just seems to be a bad idea for most games.
I mean, I do use PS4 remote play from time to time - but again, i avoid those games that require precision on input.

Alphabet/Google loses interest in a product line mid-stream. Color me surprised.
k
Not even mid stream, like early stream.

yeah that’s the thing that does indicate the death of stadia, however I’m not sure yet

@KevinJ of Kansas maybe you should short its stock. 🤭

Hahahaha
That would presume I have enough capital to do anything.
Which would be false.
Person stealing my identity is in for some SORE disappointment!

I feel ya. I have two bachelors degrees. Nobody wants my identity. Unless they have more debt than me I guess?

Well, this person opened a bank account in my name, and filed for unemployment in my name...
So far they are batting 000 because the bank account got closed 3 days after it opened, and the unemployment was denied.
