08/26/2022, 9:43 PM#C29J1BPM3 #C5Y8YA27Q Can I change a custom field that is Free Text to a Text Area without erasing all the data in the field? I know that sometimes when you change field types NetSuite erases all existing data in the field. I don't get the warning message when I try to change from Free Text to Text Area so didn't know if anyone had experience with this. Thanks!

08/26/2022, 9:53 PMThanks I tested in Sandbox, and it did not erase any data, but I'm super nervous because this is very critical data and I can't risk loosing it

08/26/2022, 9:56 PMI deleted because I figured an "I don't know for sure" isn't helpful..ha. Could always do a saved search to download the current values before you make the change. Then you could reload it if it does by chance wipe it out.
